Johann Bona is a Filipino-Canadian photographer who graduated from Istituto Marangoni Milan in 2009 with a Masters in Fashion and Luxury Brand Management (cum laude).  He was hired on the spot for a paid internship even before graduation, and worked at a European fashion brand's creative department for several months. While he excelled at his work, he found the office environment uninspiring, and began to seriously consider making images as a living. He then moved back to Toronto to start his Photography career.

Johann's current body of work is best described as a dichotomy of intimacy and mischief, calm and loud, tame and vivid. He is also presently a professor at College of St. Benilde - School of Design and Arts, mentoring the next generation of image-makers.
