Chuck Reyes was born and raised in Manila, before moving to Los Angeles and ultimately finishing his education in Singapore where he graduated with a BFA from Lasalle College of the Arts. Informed by his upbringing the urban sprawl of Metro Manila, childhood summers spent in Tokyo, and formative years in sun-drenched California, he takes inspiration from an amplified view of the everyday. Through observation and experience, his photographs exhibit a casual elegance that belie an inherent timelessness.
